Storage Support Engineer with German

Our client has established a Solution Center Support Team, located in Sofia, which supports storage products of all kinds
across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Support becomes more specific through the experience levels, right up to the
highly complex design, scoping and implementation leadership of international and strategic accounts, working at the highest
level with customers and managing large projects.
This includes remote technical assistance, recommendation and advice, fault isolation and requests for product enhancement.
Team focus is on hardware support in HP-UX, Windows, Linux. Environments close together with other support teams. Other
services entail delivering support to customers via E-services, creating and distributing knowledge using specific tools.
Your Role:
Provide in-depth technical and technological expertise in particular areas of focus by developing a genuinely customised
solution for every customer.
General Requirements:
Excellent written and spoken German is a must
Good written and spoken English
Analytical troubleshooting and Problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Customer focused and team player
Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent in a technical/scientific major
Relevant experience is desirable
As an Advantage will be considered:
Experience in various OS (HPUX, and/or Windows, and/or Linux)
Experience in administration of server environments
Mass Storage and SAN environments
Troubleshooting skills in the following areas (preferable):
Unix File Systems and LVM is an advantage
Unix Backup and Recovery is an advantage
Unix Clusters and Network Services is an advantage
Windows and Windows Cluster environments is an advantage
Experience with backup Software (Data Protector, Veritas Backup Exec, TSM) is an advantage
