Да пожелаем успех на Марто в новия му клубBulgaria winger Martin Petrov has agreed to join Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer after leaving Manchester City.
The 31-year-old was released from City this summer after his contract at Eastlands expired, with manager Roberto Mancini deciding not to renew terms.
Petrov's signing will be seen as something of a coup for the Trotters in capturing a player with proven ability and who impressed in his early days in the Premier League after joining from Atletico Madrid.
He becomes Bolton boss Owen Coyle's first full signing of the summer at the Reebok Stadium, with the former Burnley managed expected to make more additions in the coming months.
Petrov initially enjoyed a successful stint in then-manager Sven Goran Eriksson's City team, however once the Swede departed and the big-money takeover by the Abu Dhabi United Group took place, the midfielder saw his chances become more limited by new players and a succession of injuries.
Overall he made 66 appearances for City, scoring 12 goals, some of which were outstanding strikes with his powerful left foot and he has also won 77 caps for his country.
He joins Bolton on 1st July under the Bosman ruling and he had also been linked with a move to Aston Villa.

Parma have completed the signing of Bulgaria striker Valeri Bojinov from Manchester City.
The president of Parma, Tommaso Ghirardi, confirmed that the Serie A club have completed the signing of the 24-year-old former Lecce and Fiorentina forward.
Bojinov, who spent last season on loan at Parma, had made it clear that he wished to return to Italy following an injury-ravaged spell for the Eastlands outfit after he was signed by then City manager Sven Goran Eriksson in 2007.
"I am very happy to announce the successful outcome of a deal that we have been pursuing since last January," Ghirardi told Sky Italia.
"Bojinov is now a Parma player. I am happy, it is a deal that we have been taking forward since January. Over time the price went up and down. The documents finally arrived, so we will announce all the details at a press conference on Wednesday.
"We reached an agreement with City. I am grateful to Valeri, who really wanted to stay at Parma. The details of the contract will be established between (general director Pietro) Leonardi and the staff of the player."
Reports suggest the Bulgaria international, who scored eight goals in 30 appearances last campaign, will pen a five-year deal at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
